About GGCit

Company president, Gregory Gimello, has over ten years of experience in the information technology industry.

Before founding GGC in 2010, accomplishing his long-held dream of going to business for himself, he was a systems administrator at Dell Systems in the Washington, DC metro area. In his role at Dell, he served as part of a team that built out a Citrix-based server environment at the company’s Plano, Texas Technology Center. He also conducted data-center migration work from MedStar’s White Oak (Maryland) data center to the Center.

Prior to working with Dell, Greg worked at MedStar Health as a senior server engineer. Here, Greg implemented Citrix Presentation 4.0 on 120 servers, including infrastructure and published application servers. He also worked directly with company employees, as he deployed and migrated from 300 to 950+ users from one internal system to another. He led the transition of 50 support servers from MedStar Research Institute to the MedStar Server team.

This is just a mere sampling of the projects Greg has taken on and led.
